Very cool shot with the vents, Chris.  Also love the wide shot of it on the ramp.  So good you were able to get it with no lurkers in the foreground (or lurkers who conveniently stood in places making it easy to clone them out).

So what exactly are these for?

Exhaust vents for the Chemical Oxygen Iodine Laser (COIL).  Combustion inside six modules generates the lasing medium of hot ionized gas that exhausts out the bottom of the fuselage.
