Anyone notice the chocks in the photo?????? Also, note the gun coming apart, wonder if there's a lot more behind this story?

Was this recent?  Not much damage to an A-10, since they are so tough.  Few antennas on the tail to be replace and some paint and she back to new again..... ;D

Apparently this was on 25 March 2008. Would be interesting to see if anyone has caught it since then.

Here's another angle, really ground off a good part of the tails. I'd say half of the LASTE sensor is gone.
