Thanks Matt.  OSH is something everyone with even a passing interest in aviation ought to attend.  Wish I'd done it much, much earlier...

Dave: Pleasure meeting you as well.  Looking forward to your take on AirVenture.

Some of my A380 shots from Oshkosh this year.

1. Kicking up quite a bit of debris during the takeoff roll
2. Just after lifting off, boy was she QUIET as she flew right by us.
3. I like the amount of rudder deflection as she rolls to the right, just after lifting off.

From the opposite side of London Heathrow through a double-paned window and a sheet of nasty plexiglass. My wife thought I had won the lottery when I realized what "that big thing" was on final. She was a bit disappointed when she found out it was just a plane.

From back in November of 2007, during the A380's second visit to LAX.  Here she is, red carpet rolled out and waiting for the tours to begin.

Dug this one from the old archives. This was taken at Farnborough in 2008.

If you are tall, I recommend upgrading your seats, there is no leg room at all in economy.

Monochrome just does something that color can't, drama, mood, etc.  It's another keeper Jeff.
