Hello guys,

Haven't had a great deal to post recently, but I thought you guys might be interested in some F-4 shots from Hyakuri. I've visited five times over the last 18 months or so, and never quite had the sort of day I would have liked. Finally at the fifth time of asking, the stars aligned!

First up some F-4EJs from 302 Hikotai:

Now some RF-4Es and RF-4EJs from 501 Hikotai:

Outstanding set of shots, it looks like the Emperor willed a good day for you.

Hyakuri and Wittmund are #1 and #2 on my dream-list, but sadly neither will still be flying F-4s by the time I'm in a position to go to either.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

Paul,

Those are some outstanding images.  The weather looked cold, but very clear!  Some great composition on those as well.  I really like the 1st & 3rd shots in the F-4EJ series.

Joe,

Never say never...cough cough James cough cough AzAP Far East Photocall cough cough...

Great capture on the F-4 - love that color scheme!

Side note, when I was a teenager the Thunderbirds flew the F-4E. They did a show with those bad boys at Falcon Field. My parent's home is not far from Falcon. We sat on the roof and watched them practice the day before the show. I can still remember the ROAR as the F-4's would come over the house - off the charts!

Due to the %$*&@$ landing long situation even Contractor's Way isn't a sure bet. This was the best I got from TWO passes.
