Kind of a gamble right now with the F-35B (rightfully) in jeopardy.  Guess they're hedging their bets on the Field of Dreams logic.

Or more likely the money was already programmed in the budget.  And if they didn't use it - they would lose it.

Oh, I'm sure the money was already there, but it seems like it would have been suspended with the rest of the program.

I wonder if the "B" model does fall through if this will transition over to "C" model operations since I read its already in the works that the Corp is getting a mix of both
