Hello all.

I wanted to post another movie that I made using photos I have taken at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport over the past few years.  Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks.

Looks like a good collection of shots, as well as in the PHX thread.  Please feel free to upload the photos themselves to the forum.

Boeing 747-830 International N6067U kicks up spray as it makes a mid-field departure from Willie into a thunderstorm.  Moments earlier, a dust storm had reduced visibility to zero for s short while.

It first flew on April 26, 2011. It will be delivered to Lufthansa Airlines as D-ABYE. Its construction number is 37826.

Looks like a typical Paine Field shot.

Very nice catch Brian. I love to see different weather conditions at Willie other than the typical bright sun and cloudless blue skies.

It landed under clear blue skies at Boeing Field at the conclusion of this flight.  Ultimate weather-swap.

Thanks Jeff.  The thundercell spawned a microburst that blew a dust cloud across the airport as the 747 taxied out.
The 110-degree wind blew dust in my eyes and I could fee l grit in my teeth.

After taxiing to the south end for a runway 30 departure, the 747 disappeared in the rain.  It taxied back to mid field and departed from Runway 12.  I have more photos of its departure on my web site at Air-and-Space.com.

I was at Willie late afternoon/evening to catch those three aluminum tubes. I must have missed the "Heads Up" that someone posted on these helos; otherwise, I would have made a try at catching them.

There wasn't a heads-up.  I had no idea.  Not sure if Jack has been out there or not.  Wondering if they're the Pumas that have been buzzing around the Northwest.  I think Paul Carter caught them up at McMinnville or thereabouts.  Would have loved to have caught them, but had no idea they were even in the state.
