Any filters on those PZL shots?  Solid exposure at 1/60 in bright daylight is pretty impressive.

No, no filters...  1/60 @ f/22 ISO 100  The 500mm will actually go to f/45!

I wish I had a three-stop ND to pull the depth of field back to f/8 so the background was less of a heat-haze induced watery mess.

"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."

Now there's a catch!  Good work.  Did they end up departing?

Thank you!  Yes, they departed about an hour later, it was a gas-n-grub-n-go.
