In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Great shot Joe, can't beat that head on look with the pilot clearly visible.

Harvey, I couldn't agree more on the angle, especially with the Hunter head-on.  Just such a beautiful airplane.

The pilot is half the story here.  One of the ground crew was telling me the pilot's name is Ronald Reagan, and his callsign is "Guv," as in "Governor," which was the office another Ronald Reagan held at the same time this one was going through training.  Safe to say this pilot knows a thing or two about a thing or two.
