With his new optical asset, we may have to start referring to Joe and "Fisheye Master". I'm a little disappointed he let a hint of slurry on the ramp keep him from his classic belly-down posture  ;D

I found out that Jack was operating a sweat lodge at Willie (i.e. the pagoda) and took a couple hours this afternoon to purge myself through transpiration. In addition to Jack; Paul and a new acquaintance from Denmark were participating in the ceremonial sauna. Normally I jinx these situations and nothing comes in. Luck was with me for a few moments and a couple of Black Sheep from Yuma paid us a visit. I'm playing with a more pronounced pano crop and thought this particular image worked in Cinerama - it also helped me avoid some serious cloning work.

Considering the majesty of Messrs. Youmans' recent A2A images; I've decided to invent a new aviation photography category - L2G (i.e. ladder-to-ground). I'm sure others have already thought of this; however, I will claim ownership until advised to the contrary  ;D

LOL Jeff.

The shot posted immediately above Scott's was a belly shot.  So not only did I get the shot, I was flame-resistant as well.

The fisheye is actually a bit tricky when it comes to other-than-eye-level angles.  Too low, and the aircraft looks like a smiley face or a banana.  Too high, and it's a rainbow (planebow?).  Still a ton of fun to shoot with.

You will always be my hero Joe and I knew in my heart a little slurry wouldn't stop you. One of these days I'm going to add a "fisheye" to the arsenal and you will need to mentor me. Until then, I'll just keep enjoying your excellent images  ;)
