AZ Photo Challenge #15: Size Matters (April 12th to May 12th)

The rules for this photo challenge are;

1.  This month's theme is "Size Matters."  This is not just photos of large aircraft, but photos that are composed in a way that emphasizes the size of the aircraft.

   Examples of 'larger' aircraft;
   - General Aviation - bigger than a King Air
   - Warbird - B-17/B-24/B-29
   - Airliner - twin aisle (Boeing 767, Airbus A300, etc)
   - Helicopters - CH-53

Any thing bigger is fair game.

Suggestions on things to take pictures of;
- BA 747 evenings at Sky Harbor
- Hawaiian 767 mornings at Sky Harbor
- UPS or FedEx freighters afternoons at Sky Harbor
- C-130 Herc's (Williams Gateway, D-M, or TIA)
- C-17's (Williams)
- B-29 (FiFi)

2.  One photo per member (you can change your photo as many times as you like until the deadline).

3.  Photos should be uploaded directly to the "Photo Challenge" thread for the current contest (this thread).

4.  All photos must be submitted to the Photo Challenge thread no later than 11:59pm Arizona (GMT-07) time on May 12th.  Voting will begin on May 13th and close May 20th.  Any photos posted after the deadline will be deleted from the thread and not eligible for consideration.  You can only vote for one photo and it cannot be your own.

5.  The winning photographer will select the theme for the next assignment.  Keep in mind that assignments that are aircraft- or airport-specific may limit the ability of other members to participate.

6.  Be safe and have fun!

"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

One of the purposes of the Photo Challenges is to try different things (time of day, perspective, etc) when taking new pictures.  Normally there is a reminder in the challenge rules that says the picture must be taken during the challenge period, but when I was putting in the description of 'Size Matters' I left the date range out.

Any pictures posted to the thread up until now - will be permitted for this challenge.  Any NEW pictures into the thread - must be taken during the challenge period.

Sorry for the confusion.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Rush job on the edit, but here's mine in the nick of time:

"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."
