- National Air & Space Museum (Dulles, VA)
- Kennedy Space Center
- Intrepid Air & Space Museum (NYC)
- California Science Center (LA)

I guess someone wanted to put them somewhere where lots of people can see them.  I figured that the Museum of Flight (Seattle, WA), run by Boeing - would have gotten one.

Surprised that Intrepid trumped Dayton.  Guess they'll have to add another barge next to the carrier like they did for the Concord.

Guess I'm too picky but I can't wrap my brain around Carrier as general Air Museum and not just NavAir.

I always seen that the National Air & Space Museum and Kennedy Space Center were going to be givens. They had heading there way years ago.

It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

Intrepid gets Enterprise, which was a test craft that never went into space. It's at Udvar-Hazy now and will be replaced there by Discovery.

It will be interesting to see if this is really the final decision, or if the politicians will stick their noses in. I know that the Air Force Museum has a lot of political clout behind it and they can't be happy.

Eh.  The Air Force can always do what they did with the CAF's F-82 and just take a shuttle.

I think the Congresscritters already had their say which is why they're going where they're going.  Who knows really?

Then again, I think the "Miracle On The Hudson" Airbus should go to NASM and not Charlotte so what do I know...
