I wonder if any of the Tucson-based A-10s will end up being moved out. Are there operational aircraft there or are they just training?

Bulldogs are the operational squadron, and they're either deploying to Afghanistan soon or they're already gone.  The other two squadrons are training units.

I'm guessing the 81st FS out of Spangdahlem is the main A-10 unit in the fight down there.

Bulldogs got their tasking changed at the last minute and are now in Korea, the other two squadrons are temporarily located at the Tucson Airport for the next 3 weeks or so for the runway to be re-surfaced.

So are there A-10s launching in the mornings from TIA along with AZANG Falcons?
