Anyone want to hazard a guess? Looks like a Flogger to me:

That's what a story on CNN says.

Khaled el-Sayeh, the opposition military spokesman, said the plane was an old MiG-23 that belonged to the rebels.


Some stories are saying it was actually shot down by rebels also, but I haven't seen any confirmation.

I would think rebel pilots would want to stay out of the air if NATO planes are going in.

An F-15E has crashed in Libya. The crew is safe and they only have minor injuries. "Mechanical failure" is being blamed for the crash.
