Thank you Vance, I almost didn't go outside to try this shot, I thought it was to dark, but I got a nice surprise when I downloaded it.

NASA F/A-18B Hornet N852NA took off from Runway 22 Left at Edwards Air Force Base at 11:38 AM on September 20 to meet up with the incoming 747/Shuttle stack.

NASA F/A-18B Hornet N852NA took off from Runway 04 Right at 8:14 Am on September 21. The Hornet chase plane circled the airfield and timed its pass along the runway to coincide with the liftoff fo the 747/Shuttle stack.

Why I love the USA so much, especially Phoenix, where else can you see Marines Hornets taking off on a Saturday Morning on an international aiport, this F/A-18D was seen on 24 of August together with another D model..
