"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

A real beauty Joe, as old as the F-5 is, it is a timeless classic.

Learned this morning the AZ Aviation Photographers Forum is back. This is an F-5E, ser #741564, recently put on display at Pima Air & Space, photographed March 21, 2024. I don't know its history, but per PASM it's wearing the markings of VFC-13, NAS Fallon, Nevada, circa 1996. Full sized image is at https://flic.kr/p/2pEFav3

Sometimes life can be a drag...

Taken during the 2024 MCAS Yuma Airshow as the Snipers recovered.  The F-5's were the big draw to Yuma for me.  They didn't disappoint.  Now I just need to take a field trip to Key West and catch the Sundowners in action.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
