I love your picture of the gun ports.

I love your picture of the gun ports.
Thanks...
I did one of each side and they would make a nice framed diptych.

Great Pic! The F-86 is one of my favorite planes and I think I found a new desktop pic for my PC
These shots are awesome. The F-86 is also one of my favorite aircraft. If you don't mind, I'd love to have all these photos posted on my F-86 group (North American Sabres (F-86 and FJ Series Aircraft)) . Thanks
A2A imagery from my father's files. Dad said this photo was taken at his CO's request for their 1958 squadron Christmas card. Dad took this image using a Folmer Graflex K21 camera that produced a 5x7 negative from roll film. He said the K21 was a heavy and unwieldy tool in the back seat area of a military fighter. No offense intended, but I always thought the 'D' model was plain ugly with that big black nose.

Jeff, What a beautiful image. This kind of historical photo is priceless. Wish I could remember those dogs, I turned three just about that time!
Whoa. Even without the historical significance, that's a stunner of a shot.
Pretty sure these were F-86Ls with the SAGE modifications rather than straight Ds.

Joe before Joe. Another example of my Dad trying for a different angle on an F-86 at the PHX ANG - circa 1956.

Taking a bit more pride in the dirt on the front of my shirt and the faded spots on the knees of my jeans after seeing this.
Absolutely loving these old shots of your dad's you've been posting. Please pass along my compliments.
Interesting to see what was at the Guard when I was still crawling.

Since we were both crawling about the same time, this might provide you with additional interest - http://azaerophoto.com/forum/index.php?topic=19.msg58519#msg58519
