I really like the perspective of this image Scott. Low and nearly head-on creates a great composition.

Thanks guys! Jeff shared some of his observations from previous shoots out there so I was more prepared than I would have been otherwise.  Using live view was definitely helpful.  I ended up using manual exposure and the self timer.  Both of Jeff's postings from that outing are outstanding!

I used my D7100 digitize some of my old slides, yes slides.

first up is an F-16A, shot from our KDC-10 refueling tanker, unfortunately ours use a camera system, so no rear window. this was shot while descending towards the Air show at RAF Fairford in 1998.

Second one is a F-16A shot during an AAR mission over the Northsea.

last one was a quite rare edition of the F-16A, these were wired to carry the Delft Instruments Orpheus recce pod, making it the only recce capable F-16's in its time before the modern targeting/recce pods used today. it was sololy used by the Dutch 306sq and was designated F-16A(R)

first edits of my KDC-10 tanker ride, unfortunately no boom window as we use a camer system, so we have to shoot through the cabin windows, which is quite difficult, more will follow.

These are great shots even if you did have to shoot out the side windows. I know how challenging that can be, nice work Bjorn.

That is a very cool paint scheme on that F-16 Bjorn, very well lighted and photographed. Good work!
