Being dragged down the runway behind a Shorts SC-7 Skyvan at Falcon Field at the end of an air-to-air photo shoot during Air2AirWorkshops' last workshop of the year.

Awesome Capture.  This was the second aircraft type flown by the Blues.  They jumped to jets after the Bearcat. flying the F9F8 Panthers. (Hellcat, Bearcat, Panther, Cougar, Tiger, Phantom II, Skyhawk, and Hornet).  The Cutlas also wore the Blue's colors but only as a solo.

Joe, this took place on January 29th and I was there to participate in the event having worked for Larry Newman during the early eighties. One of the attendees was Bryan Allen who piloted and powered the Gossamer Condor and Albatross man powered aircraft on their record breaking flights. We both worked for Larry at American Aerolights and Bryan was my instructor when I learned to fly the Eagle ultralight that we manufactured.  We also worked together on the Eagle XL, Bryan being the test pilot.  Ancient history!
