#181
428th FS color birds. Tough to get anything decent out there in the morning when they're landing on 03R.

Better shots of the color birds.

Nice shots! Looks like they were using 21. Would much rather get photos of them landing on 21 than on 03...

Had a flight of 4 Strike Eagles from Mountain Home come through El Centro on 3/5/16. Fueled up and left.

a first edit of this years edition of Frisian Flag. Also present was a Theatre security package, with LA and FL ANG F-15s. the LA are my personal favourite.

Hello everyone! After a long hiatus I am back. I hope you all are doing well.

In 1991, During Operation Desert Storm, this aircraft (89-0487) was credited with downing an Iraqi Mil Mi-24 Hind helicopter in the air using a GBU-10 laser-guided bomb. In 2012, this aircraft became the first F-15 of any type to log over 10,000 hours.

This was shot with a Nikon 200-500mm zoom, at 500mm on a crop sensor. Fortunately this was the first aircraft in the group to launch as the other aircraft turned out looking like jello.
