I concur with Barry, great catch sir. I am definitely jealous as I've never seen a triple 7 and KPHX. It has been my understanding I'd have to go to LAX for such a treat. KTUS is certainly much closer. Is this a regular flight?

It is not a regular flight. It was going to Ascent Aviation (the old Hamilton Aviation site) for what I don't know.

Anna, Another very nice Sky Harbor shot.  Was this a 200-400 shot or are you back to your normal equipment?

Thank you Scott....

This was with the Canon 200-400. Still have a few more Sky Harbor shots to post from that weekend over the next few days.

The EXIF data shows this was shot at 400mm.  Was on the Rio Salado path at 48th St.  Practically standing under the approach path.

Could this be some secret Boeing development...a supersonic 767, seen here with a bow wave emanating from the nose...or just a darn lucky shot of a 767 crossing in front of the moon?!

This is a great catch Dave, the timing and the eye to see this was a possibility is outstanding work. Congrats!

Much less cheesy than my super-sonic 767 image...finally was able to capture a UPS 767 on approach to Sky Harbor.

One of your very best from this series David. Well done.
