Speaking of the MAGTF demo, is everyone sandbagging their mass helo-formation shots, or was it really just a stream of single-ship arrivals/departures?
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

The "wall of fire" actually was ignited but no planes in the area and no announcement so no one caught it it seems.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Your tax dollars at work. In first photo, crew chief is banging on the lower part of the door, trying to get it open. Finally gives up and jumps out the top. I don't know how many millions these things cost, but I guess you don't get much door for that.

Heavy overcast out there when the aircraft arrived, so I really didn't get anything particularly good.

About the best I could do on a dark day. He landed with the rotors in helicopter mode, but he didn't land vertically, just slowly. Tilted the rotors forward to taxi.

Interesting that a squadron called the "Greyhawks" has a winged horse for its symbol.
