I was just selected to be the FCC Trainee for our tour stop to Santa Maria, California next month.  More details to come as I learn them.

The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Here's the info that I have so far:


  • Fri. Aug. 27 - Santa Maria Public Airport, Santa Maria, CA
  • Sat. Aug. 28 - Santa Maria Public Airport, Santa Maria, CA
  • Sun. Aug. 29 - Santa Maria Public Airport, Santa Maria, CA

As of right now it looks like we'll be departing Falcon Field the morning of the 27th and returning the afternoon/evening of the 29th.  I should know more after this weekend.  I'll keep y'all posted.

Here's the rest of her Summer Tour schedule, hopefully I can get on as FCC Trainee on one of these trips.


  • Sept. 2-7 - Watsonville, CA
  • Sept. 10-12 - Sacramento, CA
  • Sept. 24-26 - Lake Havasu, AZ
  • Oct. 1-3 - Salinas, CA
  • Oct. 9-11 - Midland, TX (AIRSHO) with Sentimental Journey
  • Oct. 11-14 - Santa Teresa, NM with Sentimental Journey
  • Oct. 14-18 - El Paso, TX with Sentimental Journey
  • Oct. 18 - Mesa, AZ with Sentimental Journey

Maid in the Shade is now certified for passengers, and will be giving rides in its tour cities and back in Mesa in the Fall.

Got an email today, both Sentimental Journey and Maid in the Shade have been cut from the AIRSHO list of aircraft.  I'll post more info in the SJ Summer Tour 2010 thread since it pertains to that and my time with SJ more.
