Through a series of failures on the part of my brother and a few of his friends, I wound up taking a short trip to LA yesterday.  I spent about 40 minutes at LAX.  While I was there when the light was perfect, runway 24R was closed, meaning that the shots I wanted to get from In-N-Out and the Westchester Bridge weren't possible.  I made due with the options I had, catching this China Airlines 747 on final for 24L.  Would love to get back out there again during the summer when 24R is open.
