This is obviously a really bad photo, but I was wondering if anybody had ever seen one of these. It's a PZL-104 Wilga. It's parked on the north ramp at DVT.

I think this is N191TS, which the FAA says is "Sale reported" to someone in Phoenix, so we might see it at one of the fly-ins one of these days.

Hey, it's one of those. :D I'll say again that it's a strange looking machine. I wonder if he sold it?

This is the Wilga that was at AirVenture...  Guess they're hanging a bigger engine on it and going to rename it the "Wilga Beast!"

#57
Three-time Indy 500 winner Bobby Unser parks his nicely painted Aerostar on a dark day. Appropriately enough, he had to fly a few race tracks in the sky before he could land due to the weather. The ceiling was about 900 feet when he came in.

I'll give the paint job an "interesting" vote, but I'm not sure I'd give a "nice" vote for Mr. Unser's paint scheme though.  Of course, I'm not going to complain... it's his choice and his money... let the warbird anoraks fight out the paint scheme argument.  ;D
