Moose out at Coolidge in a Breezy. At least, I assume it's Coolidge. I've never been out there. I saw the desert and noted runway 23 in the video, then looked on Google maps and compared.

You guys ever seen him out there before?

Yes - Coolidge (look upper left when they turn onto the runway, and you can see the old Hanger)

Perhaps this should have been considered for the air forces light attack requirement

On a drastically smaller scale, I cooked my mountain bike brakes yesterday while coming down the last mile of asphalt on Yarnell Hill. This puts a major dent in my plans to run the hill from top to bottom at high speeds with wide street rubber. I now need to seek out better pads and rotors that can take excessive heat.

Oddly enough, I did the same run earlier on my old street beater bike with caliper brakes and they did just fine.

The first guy shown in the video, 747-8 Test Pilot Kirk Vining (Capt. Kirk).  I went to college with him at WSU.
He has obviously done better than I in the post college years.

What on earth are your using the brakes for?  :)  I'm amazed at how disc brakes on bicycles has taken over.  Talk about overkill.

I loved the "I just don't think I had enough maps" part. Occupational hazard for Forward Air Control guys.

Very cool video, Chris.  Really speaks to the efficacy of AMARG.
