Here are two shots showing the wingtip configuration.  Interesting that there are no winglets, but Boeing went with a raked tip, similar to the 777-300ER?.

The wingtip shape and orientation of the wingtip is certainly different.  Maybe they've just reoriented and reshaped the winglets because their simulations show that the tip shape rather than its vertical position provides better mitigation of the wingtip vortices and associated turbulence.

I certainly seems to have lots of flex...looks like a B-52 wing under a full load airborne.  Those engines are enormous...big too :-)

Welcome James!  Nice addition to the series.  I take it you instruct at IWA in some capacity given your ramp access?

I actually instruct out of DVT, but stop at IWA often for a bathroom and snack break between students.
