Great catch Brian.  Finally something other than an A320 or 737!  It's a surprisingly chunky aircraft, I like it!

Nice catch Brian. I saw the Dreamliner on final from my parents backyard (mandatory Sunday visit) and it looked to be going for a south approach. A short time later, I went outside again to show my dad the BA747 coming on final and it looked like the 787 had performed a quick touch-n-go and was making a second approach to the north. Maybe I was seeing things, but it sure looked like the same AA787 on final to the north. When I got home and checked FlightAware, it appeared to have simply bounced (once or twice) and headed straight back to DFW.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Jeff,

She landed (once) on 25R and then parked at the west cargo ramp for about 30 minutes.  Departure was also on 25R, with a southerly turn back to the east.  It doesn't look like that 2nd aircraft ever made it to El Paso.

Thanks Scott and Jeff! I've been tracking that 787 since it filed its first flight plan to Phoenix last Monday. I was on the wrong side of the airport for its first visit.  I was five minutes late for its second departure.

It made a full stop and pulled into west cargo after it landed tonight.  It took off again 35 minutes later.

Both flight plans were for the same airplane.
