Now that you mention it, I remember #3 but I don't recall seeing the first two.

Looks like an absolute blast.  I need to try a glider ride sometime.

Overflying El Tiro, trying hard to stay in formation with a friend who was flying in the glider seen. We were flying an AMT-200 Super Ximango out of Marana.

Dig the expansiveness of that shot.

Were you on the Ximango that showed up at D-M for static display at the last airshow?
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Yes Joe, the same one which you saw at the airshow at DM last year.

It's been quite some time since I've posted here, and its been a similarly equal time since I've taken some aviation shots. However, yesterday I was out at the gliderport (I'm a member now!) and got these shots:

T45 Swallow, one of 3 in the States, 40 worldwide, and this particular one was the last one made before the factory burned down.

Didn't want to put too many on the thread, so there are a couple more on my flickr.

Steve, Thanks for posting the sailplane shots. I've always loved this segment of aviation.  The T45 is a great looking old glider.  Would love to see it fly sometime.

Well, she should be up in the next month or so. I believe all they're waiting on is some new rubber for the skid and couple other finishing touches, mainly for ascetics. Otherwise its flight-worthy.

Couple more shots and a video. Club is having a contest this week, so there are gliders a plenty.
