Arizona Air National Guard KC-135R 63-8023 of the 161st Air Refueling Wing based at Sky Harbor International Airport flew to Mesa Gateway Airport on March 11, 2011 to be put on display at the open house on March 12.

 The Stratotanker made several touch and go landings on Runway 30 Right before landing on Runway 30 Left and taxiing to its parking place.
