Hopefully I can get home in time for a nice backyard photo.

After reorganizing and rebuilding (but not finished yet) my Lightroom catalogs, thought I'd share this older shot of BA arriving into Sky Harbor

Wow Dave...this is not only a beautiful shot, but also  a demonstration in courage.  I'm surprised it didn't suck you off the ground during it's overhead pass.  Where were you standing?

Jbong

Awesome Shot Sir. Well done.

Dave S.

Thanks guys!

Vance - this was taken back when Airlane Dr. was still connected to the 153.  There was a spot where you could line up with the centerline of 26.  Construction has now taken over and that is no longer a viable spot to shoot from.

I probably shouldn't even bother posting this beneath Dave's killer shot above but here's one farily decent frame from the 8-28 arrival of the 747-F

The heat haze was bad even when the 747-8F was 300-500 ft. high.

I don't even recognize this airline but this trans-Pac beater was taxiing in behind us at ORD a few years ago..

This is a great window shot.  I didn't recognize the name either but after doing some digging, I found the following:

Asiana Airlines (formerly Seoul Airlines) is based in Seoul, South Korea and is one of South Korea's two major airlines.  Asiana is one of six airlines to receive a five-star rating from Skytrax, and is a member of the Star Alliance. In 2010, Asiana was named the airline with the best in-flight service in the world by Global Travelers magazine. Asiana also won the prestigious Airline of the Year Award by Skytrax for 2010.

The 747-8F Cargolux was at Palmdale, Plant 42 the otherday.  One of our members caught it.

Thanks Jay.  The Fin Flash on the 47 bird reminded me of some of the squadron stripping you used to find on some of the F-100s back in the 50s and early 60s.  This is a nice shot of a good looking airplane.
