Dave,

You have to send me that photo...also epitomizes El Centro...in the crazy kind of cowboy way we do things out here...

All,

New request.  My OPSO was the backseat for #7 during your visit in the afternoon.  He wanted to know if anyone had any photos on either launch or recovery.  Lets say that the recovery photos might be more entertaining, as he isn't exactly a jet guy.

Thanks.

Michelle

Didn't have anything to do with what he's holding in his hand does it??

*wink*

Hey Michelle...

What's an "OPSO?"  I'm getting questions from folks in other places asking who was in the back of the 7 jet and I'd like to provide an accurate answer.

Thanks!

Jay,

I like what you selected, but 31 and 38 on your site epitomize El Centro to me.  Thanks for capturing who we are.  Would love to have copies of those two images...have an awesome 47 in digital photo frame that I display your guys' work on in the command bldg.

Michelle

Guess I should post the images in question:

#31

#38 (Now #46 due to added content)

There were two flights with someone in the backseat of Number 7 while we were there - once during the Blues' afternoon practice (guy with tan flightsuit/yellow helmet) and again as a solo flight while we were out at the shack (green flightsuit/blue helmet).

Well, wouldn't you know it!  My first post was made on the Nov. 19
El Centro site, not the most recent.  Maybe this time I won't post the same image twice either.   Bear with me and let's try it again.

The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Someone had a remote camera set up next to the runway?  Really?  Wow...
