Scott,

Looks like you were standing on the wing for that shot.   :)
Anna, the photo was actually taken from a small tower.

Anna - This may help you visualize Scott's vantage point for creating this image  ;)

Jeff, Thanks for posting the "Crow's Nest" shot. That really tells the story.  Fun to see the action from another vantage point and that's my good side too!  Great use of the limited depth of field.  70-200mm f/2.8 I presume?

Still can't get over the phenomenal light you guys got out there.  Definitely gets me excited about your book, Scott.

Simply gorgeous, Scott.  Those low clouds over the ocean and the undefined horizon make it look like you shot this at 30,000 feet.

Thanks Joe! I couldn't have asked for better weather. Puffy clouds like that are my favorite. We were at about 10,000 feet so it was reasonably comfortable.

Scott .... I have enjoyed your air-to-air photos over the past few years immensely. Tell those of us who don't know you, something about yourself  .... are you a US Marine pilot, a US Marine photographer, a professional aviation photographer with access to these superb military airborne photo opps?   As an ordinary, but avid aviation photographer, I can only drool over the incredible stuff you are producing.  Respectfully, Barry
