Effect on the canopy looks a smidge overdone, but I actually like it. 

I bought a polarizer for the Pima shoot last week and really liked the results.

I bought a polarizer for the Pima shoot last week and really liked the results. 

The canopy issue is simply a result of the polarizer.  Nothing else done to it.  It can really mess up some canopies and windscreens.  Sometimes you get some really pronounced rainbow effects.  In some cases I've gone in to try and mitigate the damages.  This shot has not been monkeyed with very much.  The problem with shooting over bodies of water is that the sky reflects in the water and can turn the surface almost white under some circumstances, thus the polarizer.  The down side is the risk of oddball canopies and losing two stops of light.
