The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Absolutely killer image Lynn. Any chance you caught this pair lighting up their AB's?

Thank you Jeff! I was hoping, but they went off one at a time.

Nice one Lynn.

For those of you who have been to previous photocalls: Have you guys found earmuffs to be sufficient ear protection? or are earplugs + earmuffs required?

Felipe,

You won't go wrong doubling up with earplugs + muffs.  The double layers of protection really help reduce the levels of both noise and shear energy that reaches your eardrums.  But man is it cool to feel that energy as they pass by.

I concur with Dave's suggestion of doubling up.  The word "loud" does not adequately convey how intense the noise is.  It would damaging without very good protection.  The foam things are not enough.

I was under the impression that somebody had mentioned about doubling the protecion before, or I saw a photo of somebody wearing earmuffs and also the little plastic cord of the foam plugs was visible. I guess I'll make sure to have both for Thursday.

Thank you Felipe. Doubling the hearing protection is probably a good idea. "What did you say?"
