The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Just a reminder to please provide copies of your better images to Michelle, our gracious B.D. hostess at El Centro.  Some of the flight crews ask for copies and are thrilled to get these types of shots.  If she uses them for any pubs, she will provide appropriate credit.
