Posted in anticipation of our next trip out.

Lots of heat distortion but I'd rather think of it as a special effect!

Reckmann, did Michelle put you up to this? ROTFL!

Wow Scott, #61 there is a superb shot! I can only imagine the stress on those hydraulics.

John, on your F-18 there, 233, those MK76's look pretty sexy there. And the squatting position of the jet is pretty nice, almost ready to pounce.

Jeff, The flame on that Canadian bird is very nice!I imagine that shot's difficult to get during the day.I never thought about it until now, but that tail hook must get pretty hot. I know its held on by a single bolt, similar to the way we attack a piston to a rod in a car motor. It must be made out of some very strong metal. What's over the "a" on the fuselage where it says Canada? Is it a logo?

Stick time: 1941 Ryan, and 1943 Steerman. Best times of my life.

Thanks for the kind words. The symbol above the word "CANADA" is a grey silhouette of the Canadian flag (i.e. maple leaf w/bars).
