Thought I'd get the party started after yesterday's pretty spectacular photocall at NAF El Centro.  Thanks to Kris & his excellent crew of volunteer sailors for making this another, epic photocall.

Here's another from that windy, very windy day.  Per Jay's namesake, this guy was on final in a pretty healthy crosswind.

Great series Dave. It looks like it was another great photocall.

OK, here we go.

Slowing things down to 1/80th.

As Jay put it, this guy was straight from central casting.

It took a couple of views before I noticed the good vibe he was sending our way...

It was an A+ kind of day, as far as flying machines go.

The wind and temps on the other hand.....

Had a fun time at NAFEC (despite the hat) and am happy with the photos I came home with.  :)

Crabbing into a left 25kt crosswind yielded a unique angle.  According to one of the LSO's, the pilots felt this was just like landing on a carrier

Scott - Your third image down with the wind turbines in the background is super rad.

Jay - Your third image also has grabbed my attention.  It has that polished pixel smell to it.

Thanks dude. I wish there were more jets in the shot, but one is better than none.
