Last Saturday I found myself at PASM, per the invite of John, to shoot the B-52 on the rest pad under the lights.  It was cold, windy, and did I mention it was cold.  I swung and missed on my angle of attack for the B-52.  My mind does not operate very well in dark, cold environments.  As consolation prize, John and I were offered up an amazing colorful sunrise, as well as the opportunity to shoot some of the airframes that wait their fates in the back.  This is one of those images.

Chris - Your KB-50J image is terrific.  This is one of my favorite airframes at PASM and you did a wonderful job capturing the "glow" of this aluminum monster - especially with difficult noon-time lighting conditions.  Perfected in monochrome.
