Just a few pics from back in February while we cleaned up the Ilyushin Il-2 windscreen and cockpit glass and plexiglass.  These really are quickie snapshots as I took these while I was working with all of this stuff.

A couple of months before this I had found that very hot water was the most effective cleaning agent, so we got ourselves an electric stove and first soaked the glass and plex as the first step.  (Both the glass and plex were then polished soon after these images were taken.)

The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
