I'm picking up a 7D Mk2 soon. B&H has a package option that includes a copy with the camera. Who here uses it (probably everyone but me) and how do you like it?

I'm pondering making the jump from Aperture 3.0, but don't know if it is worth doing. Any comments?

Get yourself the Adobe CC option for 10.00 a month.  Lightroom and Photoshop.  Well worth it....

I have both Lightroom and Photoshop CS6.  I use Lightroom for the overwhelming majority of my post processing.  I also use it for organization (keywording, rating, etc.).

Lightroom 6 - yes
Adobe CC subscription - yes

Skip the package deal and just get the Adobe CC subscription.  You get the new releases almost automatically when they are released.

Another advantage of an Adobe CC subscription that Adobe does not publicize is that it includes excellent professional grade telephone technical support. I have used the phone support several times and I have never had to wait to be connected to a support tech and the quality of the support has been first rate.

+1 on the bundle.

Very Worthwhile...

If you're coming at these two products 100% cold, I'd suggest looking at picking up the latest book on each by Scott Kelby.  A Kelby One membership is also worth considering.  Photoshop User magazine comes with that and it's a monthly gold mine of tips, suggestions and tutorials for both LR and PS.

Noted. Thanks for the tips. Camera and Lightroom should be here Wednesday.

I have relied on Victoria Bampton's The Missing FAQ books since version 3.  Great for an overview or for finding those things you've forgotton....which is my main problem.
