Another photographer friend posted this on Facebook; thought it was interesting. I've never had any issue; then again, I've never attempted to photograph or videotape personnel or other passengers.

I've always understood that crew are off limits.  As for other passengers, well, technically they're not "in public" so it's probably not kosher to be stealing their souls either.

I've never been hassled for shooting out the window of a commercial jet and only once have I had a FA approach me regarding a dSLR as being "electronic equipment."
