Terrific images thus far my fine friends. It looks like your invasion of Edwards went very well. Looking forward to more of the same - keep them coming  ;D

It was a good day yesterday. I shot lots of stuff I've never seen before.

A couple of weenie roast shots.

Joe, what settings were you using for that C-12 shot? None of mine are sharp. I was shooting no higher than 1/160th, but I still should have done better than I did. Maybe I was channeling the MJF Photography thing.  ;D

Scott, I was at 1/250th for the C-12.  One thing I noticed on all my C-12 recovery shots was a ton of heat-haze.  For whatever reason, it was so much more apparent with the C-12s than with any other aircraft we shot.  I was able to sharpen the image into good enough shape for display on the web, but it's not something I'd make a large print of.

Old "Bone"

I really, really like this shot Chris.  Nicely done.....

Thanks Anna!! That ramp would be very cool to shoot under a full moon. Some really neat stuff sitting on it.

Looks like you guys had a phenomenal first outing to Edwards.  Some great shots of things we don't see at our EC outings.  The shots of that rather un-stealthy looking F-35 doing ordnance testing, great catches!  The circular contrail above the NASA F-8 Supercritical is just the icing on the cake of a great shot too.

+1

Looks like y'all had a REALLY good time out there!  This was one trip I didn't want to miss, but it also wasn't in the cards for me (this time).  Hopefully AzAP has this opportunity again sometime.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
