Anna was kind enough to let me use her Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM "Art" lens for a few shots at PASM. I was truly impressed with this lens. At f/1.4 and 400 ISO, I could have shot everything at PASM handheld. The bokeh is creamy and the build quality appears excellent. Here is a quick edit of an image I took of the B-58. I tried to get as close as I could and keep the entire Hustler (including it's long/bent pitot tube) in the frame. With my full frame 5D3, I was able to get within a few inches of the end of the pitot tube and still capture the entire plane. While I was manually focusing the lens and on a tripod, it sure seems to produce files that are tack sharp where they are supposed to be and blending to creamy bokeh on the edges. I shot this particular image at 14 seconds, f/1.4, and ISO 100. The very shallow depth of field would not allow that pitot tube to stay in the focus plane, but I wanted it that way so I could see how this bad boy performs wide open. I suspect it is even better at f/4 through f/11.This Sigma offering is ¼ the cost of Zeiss' "art" lenses and appears to do a wonderful job. If you're in the market for a 35mm with a sub-2.0 f-stop, I would recommend you give this Sigma lens a solid look. Thanks Anna.

Your NASA shot certainly fits into the "upping their game" category.  Solid work, Matt.

Thanks Joe!

I kinda have a thing for anything NASA, so once Chris Voyles informed us that the ISS was going to be visible that night I kinda made it my mission to get the shot.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
