Excellent, excellent work Dave. The top image is my favorite. That 'beast' silhouetted against the dark gray sky (with terrific rotor blur) is outstanding.

Jeff, I too like the empty sky background. I especially enjoy the Escher'esque (or a Dahli'esque or...?) visual interaction between the tail rotor and main rotor.

Steve, that 2nd shot was a tripod assisted shot - my hands aren't nearly that steady at 1/15th of a second.

It was so much fun being able the photograph the HA/DR from inside the fence. I know it's really not that much different from the outside, but it really made me feel like I was part of the action! Here are some of my photos.
