Thanks Harvey, it really worked out well. I even had four extra vacation hours that I had planned to use that day. Luke is actually much closer to my house than Willie and if I leave early enough traffic isn't bad.  Used to shoot there a lot. Need to dig out and scan more of the old stuff.

Seeing the Australian F-35A was special for me as my mother, now 90 years old, is from Brisbane and for a time, lived close to RAAF Amberley where I assumed the F-35s will be stationed. She knows most of the WWII types by their names, Lightning, Mitchell, Liberator, etc. She had a number of childhood friends that were killed in the Battle of Britain and in the war in general.
