Agree with Jason.  Pretty sure that's an F though.  The canopy, non-ARBS nose, and lack of a drag chute are the giveaways.  Great catch - not a lot of Fs received the "hot dog" ECM mod on the tail.

I'm not sure exactly what happened here, but there was some kind of emergency with this KC-10 that was bad enough for the crew to deploy an emergency evacuation slide.

The smoke appears to be coming from the area of the right engine. It's possible that what appears to be smoke is actually from the fire suppression system. In the second photo you can see the slide coming out and in the third you can see the crew members evacuating. A crash truck and several other pieces of fire equipment responded.

This is the T-33 that landed at Luke today, N939NA. It's a "real" Lockheed T-33A and not a Canadair version as are most of the flying T-33's these days. From what I saw on WIX, this plane just made a first flight a few months ago after not flying for 15 years.

Unfortunately, he flew a very tight base leg and I wasn't able to get a very good shot of him.

It's registered in Grove, OK which is northeast of Tulsa.
