It was Jeff, I was there all by myself, the arming crew was in their shack. I was challenged by a Col. to see if I had a photo pass. I did, so when he walked closer to the runway I followed him. It worked pretty well. Then when I was leaving I was stopped by a LtCol. from public affairs to see if I had a photo pass, just glad I had one.

Harvey, These birds any louder than the normal Viper roar? Nice shot, but he Gray on Gray sure doesn't provide much contrast detail does it? Nice catch...always remember the Photo Pass. On some Navy and most Marine air stations it could mean the difference between smiles and thank you sirs and a rude face plant in the dirt.

Hi Vance, they weren't any louder than the F-16 escort. I'll let you know if I can catch their departure, that will be the loudest. I never leave home without my photo pass.
