It was more a case of "I wonder if the new computer can do this...?" It only took about two minutes to crunch through the adjustments and stitching.

This view on one of the two show days would have been more interesting I think.

Gorgeous light, Chris.

What editing program are you using?  There are several ways to get rid of the chromatic aberration on the landing light.  I get that a lot with my 75-300 - lights and reflected highlights get blown out into a purplish blob.  Pretty easy fix.

I'm not a Lightroom guy, but apparently there's a tool specifically for dealing with CA issues: http://x-equals.com/blog/?p=4996.  This was just the first tutorial I clicked on, there were many others.

You can also brute-force it by selecting only the light and either desaturating it, adjusting the color temperature. or a combination of both.

Joe,

This http://x-equals.com/blog... has some seriously awesome Lightroom info.  Thanks for pointing Chris (and the rest of us) to it!

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
