Thank you Jeff,I was amazed that the second canopy was as clear as it was also, that inspired me to make a tight crop to show the neat background. Thanks again.
Definitely a keeper Harvey! It's unusual for the second guy to be free of heat like that. I'm with Jeff on the KC-10 landing shot. Even though the pickup truck is farther away than the tanker it creates the "illusion" of immense size.  Of course they really are huge.

Jeff, Scott, once again I thank you gentlemen for your kind and insightful remarks. This guy was there to escort two aircraft to Idaho. Seems like they could have landed at Vegas for gas, oh well we don't mind, do we?

Scott, looking at the climb out photo, I guess I hadn't noticed the lack of exhaust trails, the right engine should have been obscuring the left wing and flaps. That is a bit odd, but I'll take it in the interest of a clear photo, thanks for pointing that out.

Harvey, my comment was a bit unclear. I was actually referring to the more tightly cropped F-16 shot. The second F-16 in cases like that are usually bathed in blurry hot air but somehow, maybe a crosswind, -2 is nice and clear. Great shot!

I understand now Scott, I think you are correct, the second F16 should have been jello. Sometimes even a blind squirrel finds a nut.  ;D

Very nice photos Steve. The lighting here these days get very good from about 4pm till sunset, looks like you were there at about that time.

Harvey, I really like this entire composition. The pano crop lets you give emphasis to the exhaust heat mirage and adds to the feeling of speed as the Viper departs the air space. The slight hint of AB is a nice touch. Lastly, you got some nice warm morning light bathing the aircraft. Very nice sir.
