Very nice B & W, perfect subject for it.

It was 30 minutes prior to departure. The Eureka & Palisade is in the same spot. It was just going the opposite direction in order to turn around and come up on the first set of tracks.

Wonderful image Matt. The late afternoon winter light hits the south side of Red Mountain beautifully and creates a gorgeous reflection. One of your very best images IMO. Granite Reef has always been a favorite place and you've captured it at it's very best.

Side note for any members that might also fish; there are some seriously large Flatheads in that stretch of slow water - and the occasional Diamondback  ;)

Thanks Jeff!

I've been going to the Phoenix Zoo for almost thirty years, and have never seen the cheetahs do anything except lay down in the tall grass near the back of the enclosure, so I was super-excited to get shots of them up and running around.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

I was once again lucky enough to shoot the Rose Bowl again this year.

Very nice Chris, this wouldn't have the same impact in color. Great shot!
